The history of Greek cinema
Karagiannis Karatzopoulos was founded in 1966 by the director Costas Karagiannis, his brother, Dado Karagiannis and Antonis Karatzopoulos. Pioneers within the international cinematography arena. This film production company gained commercial success and recognition extending across six decades. Since 1990 the company has been involved in the distribution of films, bringing together independent producers. An accolade of 180 films within its tenure.
Karagiannis - Karatzopoulos' collection covers more than sixty years of Greek cinema, starting in 1952 and the film "One Pebble in the Lake" and reaching 2016 with the film "The Magic Mirror".
