Replacing fragmented records at the packaging stages with a unified data synchronization. We designed and calibrated every step of the production process, using products from the Element ecosystem.
Prior to Element, crop traceability relied on handwritten forms and fragmented records per agricultural plot. The lack of a single system made it difficult to correlate production batches with products and documents, while sorting measurements were recorded in isolation, risking errors and delays in updating inventory. In addition, the business had no visibility regarding product availability by caliber, which hindered the planning of future orders.
“Disconnected systems and handwritten records made full traceability structurally impossible.”
Centiva developed a cloud traceability platform according to GS1 international standards, managing plots, crops, producers, and products with full coding. Every event is recorded from sowing to shelf.
The platform was connected to a fruit sorting machine for automatic recording of measurements and immediate availability updates.
A complete data migration was carried out from the previous platform—photos, client lists, suppliers, and items—along with the implementation of a specialized section of the platform to cover specific project needs. Product availability tracking by caliber was also automated, giving the business a real-time picture of availability for planning future orders.
