Prior to Element, the business lacked a single platform capable of covering the complexity of traceability across the entire process—from product packaging and repackaging to distribution across the entire customer network. Batch recall in the event of a problem was time-consuming, while there was no reliable forecasting of receipts or analysis by caliber for order planning. Pricing of offers was done without automated calculation of shipping and packaging costs per case. In addition, the loading process was not protected from human error, risking the incorrect placement of a pallet onto a truck.

We developed a cloud crop recording and monitoring platform according to GS1 standards, interconnected with the commercial-accounting application for automatic updating of plots, products, and documents. The platform supports packaging with or without a pre-existing order, as well as repackaging of one item into another, without losing batch traceability information (producer, plot, receipt batch).
We achieved complete batch recall in seconds and traceability across the entire customer network, along with the ability to forecast receipts and analyze by caliber and crop for precise order planning. We also implemented automated pricing and quote creation per customer and caliber, calculating shipping and packaging costs per case, and billing according to each customer’s unit of measurement (kilogram or piece).
We added finished product label printing with automatic information updates (producer, GGN, LOT), tracking of receipt-order balance with automatic recording of shrinkage and waste, as well as automation of the loading process to avoid errors such as placing the wrong pallet on the wrong truck.
